Hari ini kita akan membahas tentang partitive. Lalu apa partitive? 

Partitive adalah kata yang menunjukan suatu bagian dari keseluruhan dan digunakan untuk menunjukan:

- Satu bagian penuh 

a loaf of bread, a bar of soap, a bar of chocolate

- Sebagian dari keseluruhan 

a slice of bread, a pinch of salt, a slice of cake, a slice of meat, a drop of water

- Suatu kumpulan

a pack of cigarettes, a box of matches, a sheet of paper, a jar of jam, a pair of shoes, a tube of toothpaste, a bottle of milk, a pot of tea

Hari ini kita akan membahas suatu materi tentang ADVERB. Adverb atau kata keterangan adalah suatu kata yang berfungsi untuk membatasi arti suatu kerja, kata sifat atau kata keterangan itu sendiri.

Di dalam bahasa inggris, adverb terdiri dari beberapa bagian:

1. Adverb of manner

Adverb of manner adalah suatu adverb atau kata keterangan yang menerangkan bagaimana terjadinya suatu kejadian atau peristiwa. Jadi yang perlu digarisbawahi disini adalah bagaimana terjadinya

Contohnya: honestly, slowly, quickly, etc

He rides the car slowly.

2. Adverb of place

Adverb of place adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan tempat terjadinya suatu kejadian atau peristiwa. Intinya adalah tempat terjadinya

Contohnya: here, there, above, below, etc

I will come there.

3. Adverb of time

Adverb of time adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan kapan terjadinya suatu kejadian atau peristiwa. Jadi tentang kapan terjadinya

Contoh : now, today, tomorrow, daily, etc

I eat martabak today.

4. Adverb of frequency

Adverb of frequency adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan seberapa sering terjadinya suatu kejadian atau peristiwa. 

Contoh : once, always, never, sometimes, etc

I sometimes sleep overnight.

5. Adverb of certainty

Adverb of certainty adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan kepastian atas suatu kejadian atau peristiwa. 

Contoh : surely, definitely, obviously, certainly, etc

I definitely support you.

6. Relative adverb 

Relative adverb adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan dua klausa atau pernyataan. Nah, relative adverb ini biasanya ada di dalam noun clause, adjective clause, atau adverbial clause

Contoh : why, when, where, etc

I want to know where you live.

7. Interrogative adverb 

Interrogative adverb adalah suatu adverb yang digunakan untuk membuat suatu pertanyaan. Jadi kata tanya dalam bahasa inggris termasuk kedalam interrogative adverb. 

Contoh : where, why, when, how, etc 

Why do you love me?

Tugas Keterampilan Bahasa Inggris (Materi FAMILY dan NUMBER)

Hello semuaa.... 

Hari ini saya akan menuliskan tugas keterampilan bahasa Inggris mengenai materi Family. Tugas ini dapat kalian berikan saat kalian mengajarkan materi FAMILY atau NUMBER. Nama tugasnya adalah FAMILY AGE LINES.

Teknisnya adalah :

1. Minta siswa untuk menuliskan angka 10 sampai 100

2. Kemudian siswa menuliskan tanda kebawah dan juga menuliskan nama keluarga mereka seperti father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, atau uncle. Mereka juga perlu menuliskan umur mereka. Misalnya father (thirty years old). Tugas ini juga melatih siswa dalam menuliskan angka dalam bahasa Inggris.

Contoh Tugas Keterampilan Bahasa Inggris (PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE)

Hello all readers....

Hari ini saya akan berbagi tentang salah satu contoh tugas keterampilan siswa. Tugas ini dapat diberikan saat kalian mengajarkan materi present continuous tense.

Tugas ini saya berikan kepada siswa level 3 di suatu sekolah swasta di Jakarta. Tugas yang diberikan adalah membuat MY FAVORITE ACTIVITIES CHART

Dengan memberikan tugas membuat favorite activities chart, maka siswa dapat berlatih menuliskan bentuk -ing dari kata kerja yang ada. 

Misalnya kegiatan yang mereka suka memberi makan hewan peliharaan. FEED THE PET. Maka mereka harus menuliskan feeding the pet. Kalian bisa meminta siswa menuliskan sebanyak 10 aktivitas.

Teaching with Games (NAME GAME)

 

Hello everyone, 

Today, I would like to share to you a game called NAME GAME

So, the material : BALL

The steps:

1. Ask students to sit in a large circle and then join them. 

(Minta murid duduk di lingkaran bersar dan bergabung dengan mereka)

2. Begin by taking the ball and saying your name : I'm Miss/Mr (Your name) 

(Mulai dengan mengambil bola dan katakan nama saya ms...

3. Pass the ball to the students on your right

(Berikan bola ke murid sebelah kanan)

4. The students says She's / He's Miss/Mr (Your name). I'm.......(Mary) 

(Murid mengatakan dia adalah ms.... saya adalah.....)

5. Then the student passes the ball to the student on his/her right

(Kemudian murid memberikan bola ke sebelah kanan mereka)

6. The student then says She's Mary. I'm (Tom)

(Murid mengatakan dia.... saya.....)

7. This continues until all the names in the circle has been said

(Ini berlangsung sampai semua nama di lingkaran telah dikatakan)
